Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Investment Officer will be responsible for setting investment strategy and delivering investment results of Nationwide’s approximately $113 billion portfolio. These assets encompass various portfolios on behalf of the general account, separate accounts, the internal pension fund, as well as specific Nationwide Financial sub-advised mutual funds. The Chief Investment Officer will ensure the establishment of investment guidelines, processes, objectives and capabilities that enable Nationwide to successfully achieve corporate goals and enhance overall profitability.Job Description
The successful candidate will also have the following principal accountabilities:
Approximately 8 direct reports and 200 indirect reports.
Overtime Eligibility: Exempt (Not Eligible)
Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
